With the issuance of the Approval for use of the product in military aviation for the display unit PDU-39-02, the development of the HUD-39-02 view display system was completed.
In addition to the PDU display unit itself, the system includes a computer unit – the MP-39 symbology generator, the MFD-39 repetitive display and the DVR data transmission unit. The symbolism is available in two basic versions – “western” conforming to MIL-STD-1787 and “eastern”, which is based on the principles of display on Mig and Su aircraft.
The data is transferred to and from the aircraft on a commercially available memory card (Compact Flash, CF) and contains navigation and system information resulting from the mission planning process, a video image from the PDU and flight data used in detailed flight evaluation.
